Does it cost rental fee and communication fee?

No, it does not.
We will rend you a provider contracted router.
We have been contracted a flat-rate for communication fee, because there is no additional fee to users about the communication fee.
* If data transfer usage exceeds 7GB, transfer speed will be limited to 128kbps (Speed restrictions).Please refrain from downloading large content or watching movies for a long time.

Why is it free?

As part of Aomori prefecture’s project, we would like foreign visitors to enjoy and comfortable trip without making them feel inconvenience in internet connection, and we would like to offer AomoriNavi app that convenient to tour around Aomori to many people.

Why do you offer this service?

Because foreign visitor has a limited internet connection in Japan.
We offer the portable Wi-Fi and an Aomori sightseeing navi app.
We aim that they can enjoy and comfortable trip without making them feel inconvenience in transmission status.

About Order

Can I rent it locally without applying from the Web?

Please apply from the Web as much as possible, because we might not be able to lend depending on the stock situation.

Can I rent any number of router?

No, we may ask for one group to share one device.
* The maximum number of devices(smartphone, tablet, etc.) that can be connected to the router is 10.

Can anyone rent routers?

Unfortunately, there are conditions for rend. For more details, please check “Rental Condition” on the top page.

Where Can I rent a router?

You can rent it at Aomori airport and hotels in Aomori. For more detail, please check “Pick-up and Return Place” on the top page.

How can I rent a router?

How many days can I rent?

It is for a maximum of 7 days.

About Return Router

How can I return a router?

Please return directly to the counter where you pick-up. If you choose to return by mail (shipping fee 360 yen), you can drop it into the nearest post box.

I forgot to return a router, and I have it in my country. What should I do?

Please be sure to return home after returning the router. In the unlikely event that you return home without returning it, please send it by international delivery.
